A facilitator is a volunteer who leads study sessions, workshops, etc.. following a prepared program and format. They facilitate the sessions, studies, or workshops. They are not teachers and do not develop the program or formats. They do help to inspire participation, also aid in the advertising, promotion of, and registration for sessions, studies, or workshops.
General facilitator training will be provided for facilitators, specific adjustments to facilitating a particular session, study, course, or workshop is provided by the materials for each specific offering to be facilitated.
Adult Faith Formation is the continued faith development, enrichment, and growth for all Catholics after they are fully initiated into the Catholic Church by the reception of all three of the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Holy Communion, and Confirmation) after their successful completion of the necessary and foundational catechisis.
